Our external doors are produced in our West Sussex joinery workshop in a range of styles from Patio doors, bi-folds to stable doors and traditional solid doors. Each type of door can be developed for the unique style of your home or commercial property. External doors have many functions from security, privacy, insulation and protection from the weather as well as having curb appeal. A solid wood external door can last over 70 years so investing in a design you love is worthwhile.
Bespoke External Doors
Our solid timber external doors can be made in a variety of woods including Oak, Sapele, Maple, Walnut, Ash as well as softwoods like Pine. Our team can tell you about the different properties of the individual types of wood and what will suit your particular requirements. We can advise you on different timber depending on the exposure of the door and type of finish that you are looking for. We only use sustainable timber for our joinery.
Each of the doors that we produce are made to measure and use the traditional mortise and tenon joints. Classically made, with contemporary quality.
You can opt for a natural high quality finish which showcases the beautiful grain of the selected wood. Alternatively, you can have the doors painted in any colour you choose. We recommend the water based Farrow and Ball products which come in a range of on trend colours. All doors are spray painted in our workshop to the highest standard.
We also have experience in making doors which will work for disability access.
