Modern Anti-Slavery Policy

1. Introduction One Stop Joinery Ltd. is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its operations and supply chains. We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking and are dedicated to ensuring that our business and our suppliers operate ethically and responsibly.
2. Purpose This policy outlines our commitment to tackling modern slavery and ensuring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (or relevant legislation in our jurisdiction). It applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners associated with One Stop Joinery Ltd.
3. Responsibilities
Management: Senior leadership is responsible for ensuring this policy is effectively implemented and upheld.
Employees: All employees must report any concerns related to modern slavery and comply with this policy.
Suppliers & Business Partners: We expect all suppliers and partners to adhere to ethical labour practices and ensure their supply chains are free from modern slavery.
4. Risk Assessment & Due Diligence One Stop Joinery undertakes risk assessments of our operations and supply chains to identify potential risks of modern slavery. We conduct due diligence on suppliers and require compliance with our ethical standards, including:
Regular audits and assessments.
Supplier code of conduct agreements.
Investigations into reported concerns.
5. Reporting & Whistleblowing Employees and third parties are encouraged to report any concerns regarding modern slavery through our confidential whistleblowing procedures. Reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.
6. Training & Awareness All employees, particularly those involved in procurement and supply chain management, will receive training to recognise and prevent modern slavery. Awareness programs will be provided to ensure compliance and vigilance.
7. Non-Compliance & Consequences Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, contract termination, or legal consequences. We will take appropriate action against any individual or organisation found to be in breach of our anti-slavery commitments.
8. Policy Review This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Updates will be made as necessary to enhance our approach to combating modern slavery.
